Graphite petroleum coke
Graphite Petroleum Coke is widely used as Carburant in the steelmaking industry and precision casting industry, reduction pregnant agent in the casting industry, reducing agent in metallurgical industry and as one kind of refractories, etc.
Graphite Petroleum Coke could promote the nucleation of the graphite in liquid iron, increase the amount of spheroidal graphite, and improve the structure and the grade of grey iron.Based on the microstructure observation, the features of Graphite Petroleum Coke are as the following:
First, it can greatly increase the proportion of ferrite content of the nodular cast iron without pearlite stabilizer; Second, it can increase the percentage of V and VI shaped graphite when it is used; Third, comparing with the improvement of the shape of spheroidal graphite, the great increase of spheroidal graphite amount can decrease the usage of expensive nucleating agent for later micro-adjustment and save the cost remarkably.
GPC: Graphite petroleum Coke
The raw material of graphite carbon additive is also green coke, but the calcination temperature ratio is 3000. the content of S, N, and P is much lower than that of coal. Graphite carbon additive is mainly used for ductile iron.
Our low sulfur and low nitrogen graphitized petroleum coke is made of calcined petroleum coke as raw material, then going through fully graphitization of the continuous graphitization process under the high temperature of minimum 2600ºC . Afterwards, through crushing, screening and classification, we supply our users with the different particle size between 0-50mm at the customers' request. Acting as the inoculant and carburizer, it's widely used in the special steel smelting and precision casting process, especially meeting the requirement of high quality product and strict control of sulfur content in the ductile iron and grey iron casting industry. lt's also used as reducer agent in the nuclear reactor, the absorbent of heavy metal in the waste water treatment system and the raw material of graphite cathode in the aluminum electrolysis cell.
