    Metallurgical coke is an important industrial material, mainly used in blast furnace ironmaking and non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, titanium, antimony, etc. It has three main functions:

    Reducing agent: Metallurgical coke is added to smelting equipment with iron ore or other metal ores to help separate metal elements from the ore through chemical reactions.
    Heating agent: Metallurgical coke is burned in the smelting process, generating a lot of heat, which helps to maintain the high temperature environment required for smelting.
    Column skeleton: Metallurgical coke acts as a support material during the smelting process to help maintain the structural integrity of the smelting equipment.

    In addition, metallurgical coke is also widely used in casting, chemical, calcium carbide and ferroalloy industries, as a fuel and reducing agent. In the carbon industry, metallurgical coke can be used to produce electrode paste, carbon block, carbon electrode, etc., but also used as filler, resistance material and insulation material.
